RWS Schutze M-24

I'm looking at the Schutze as an inexpensive "go to" springer to use for ground squirrels in the back yard, and general plinking. I already have a 30s and love it. Now I want something similiar that wont recieve the TLC that the 30s gets and deserves.
The only concern I have is the hard, stiff trigger pull, (5 lbs?). There were rumors a few years ago about RWS installing their TO-5 trigger in this gun. Did they ever do this, or was that just a false alarm??
Thanks for any info that you may have.

Diana put the T-05 in their D24 a while back, and the current offering of "240 Classic" or 240 Schutze models have T-05 or T-06, although there are some early versions of the 240 with direct sear triggers.
