Listen to R. Hawkins. Good advice from a good tuner. Still, I have never heard of R-9s going past 17ftlbs and living very long to tell about it, in that configuration.I would agree that you should get a quality "magnum". If you want great, go with a Patriot, R-1, etc.....but the Holy Grail of magnum springer in my eyes is the Kodiak in .25. I have only shot one, never owned. But it was a nice, smooth shooting hammer. Almost didn't feel like a 10 lb gun. but you will have to source that used.....Piece of sound advice. Do a good tune on your 34, including a trigger mod if it's a T05, and you will have a gun that can shoot with an R-9 in accuracy and power. Does NOT compare to an R-9 in balance or trim, but will shoot with one.FWIW, I really cannot see an R-1 or any other untuned magnum shooting any better than your RWS350 would with a good tune.....God bless, and good luck,Farmer
