Thanks Ron, I actually was concerned about it when I first installed because I could see a rub mark (very faint) in that area , polished the kit a bit, and when I threw it back together it was fine, thought maybe I had put something in off kilter at first. I'll keep an eye out now knowing it could pop up later. I still have the plastic PG3 if it's necessary to switch back at some point.
I'm apprehensive about closing the ends if I'm cutting the spring, I've seen so many opinions on how to do it, and with each method there's always somebody saying "if you do it that way the spring will break, or kink, or whatever" so I'm more comfortable with the open ends. But I can see Tom's point of better control over spring length, but also how it would be less labor intensive, so it's probably a little bit of both. But it does work, and this last time I just called him up, told him my preferred pellet and what I wanted it to do power-wise, and the spring he set me up with is just right. Unless the kit starts grinding I'm done making any major changes, because that 95 is extremely accurate as it's set up right now.
