Rekord trigger in cold weather

Hi all.
It’s the colder months even here in the Pacific Northwest. Our cold is nothing compared to what some of you guys have to endure, and yet I find that my rekord triggers become stiffer when they get cold. The weight of the trigger becomes significantly higher and to me a little less predictable than in normal weather.
Is it something you guys notice?
Any solutions? It seems to happen on both my untuned guns and professionally tuned ones.

It’s not a huge deal, just a mild
annoyance. It’s hard enough to shoot well with gold fingers

If you're up to it you could try cleaning all old lubricant out of your triggers.  Once parts are clean and dry you can try switching to a dry lubricant such as molybdenum disulfide or tungsten disulfide powder.  Personally, when it's below forty degrees here I'm not shooting outside so I never notice a difference.

You’re correct 40ish degrees seems to me to be about the cutoff when they get stiffer. I certainly don’t shoot if it’s freezing.
I guess the option would be to buy a lower powered springer to shoot in the garage. But that’s not for right now.

Very good advice from Roadworthy. If you don't have dry lubes available, 10 weight ND oil or another light or ''winter'' oil will do. There are good winter greases too, for snowmobiles among other things, and nowadays synthetics do an excellent job.

Yup the factory has some VERY thick grease in there !!
You can just remove the assembly, SOAK it in some petroleum solvent and brush at it a bit, then Blow it off with compressed air.  ( Don't loose the rear trigger guard nut )
Heat up with a heat gun, set on wood stove etc to dry out the solvent.
Place a few drops of oil along side each pivot area & moly daub on Sear, Top arm at rear, latch rod holding notch.

No more temp issues guaranteed

I figured the least I could do was update this. I disassembled the Rekord, cleaned it all in Naphtha. once dry and clean, I polished the sears and applied small amounts of molyed oil to the pivots and a tiny amount of ARH moly to the actual touching sear parts.

Works great, the trigger ain't the issue anymore. My cold fingers are.
