This thread has inspired me to go out and shoot my FD-PCP .22 today. It's one that Mike converted to HPA from the GEN I guns that were discontinued.Still very accurate. Mine has a Stalwart massaged trigger group in it and an old school Betty Lou jail house coffee stain refinish on the stock.

Last thing I need is another CO2 guzzler but these rifles strike my want factor.James, sounds like a fun day, please post the results if you get a chance.
That is right up there with the performance of a shootable break barrel IMO
Had some time before Betty Lou rings the breakfast bell so I took the FD-PCP out to the Red Shed. This thing hols air for ever.. I chose to top it off and it was very near my max fill of 1900 psi before I even started. Some time back I picked up a couple tins of pellets that randomly showed up at a second hand joint for $1 a tin. One is a near full tin of H&N 21.14gr Baracuda with the older silver label. For ha has I loaded one up and shot at my 35 yd black painted steel blank. I saw the hole and it appeared to be exactly where I aimed. To be sure I loaded another. This time I didn't see where it hit so I loaded another... this time the original hole got slightly bigger.... apparently all three shots went into the same hole... Hear is the thing.... this gun in this set up is NOT backyard friendly for those of you that need that. I am not one of those. I like guns that go BANG !! I also do NOT like soup can looking devices hanging on the end of my guns. The FD-PCP is a light weight, easy to wield, critter gitter. Easy to fill, not pellet picky, easy on the eyes and accurate as heck..... what's not to like?
In my airgun sorting and tinkering of late I found a spare scope that will work nice on mt .22 XS60c, plan to mount that today and sight it in , then plink till empty, who knows may reload and do it again

Nice, I was reading somewhere on here about modifying a muzzleloader primer holder for loading alittle quicker on the xs60c, has anyone messed with the idea? Or does anyone got tips on loading faster cause depending on the pellet it can be difficult

Not bad for a sub 2k fill gun with the BStaley oring mod.Take those last five shots off and check out the bell.
Quote from: stroo on January 30, 2023, 06:27:56 PMThat's just sexy right there! Nice job on the wood work, it's giving me completely unnecessary wants...Can the current gen Xs60c be converted to PCP? Any suggested reads/info on performing such a task?
