I'm sure someone else has thought of this but here goes. This works for HW rifles but adaptable to any with scope stop holes.
Go to Ace or any good hardware store and buy these:
#29 drill bit
8-32 NC tap
5/16" 8-32 NC hex set screw (with wrench if you don't already have one !)
Position base of sight and mark center edge over stop pin hole. I always use the second hole but you will have to adjust for your preference.
This enables the sight to clear the HW safety.
Remove base after marking a spot approximately 1/4" from the edge in line with the first mark. Taking care to remove the wedge and screw of the base first, drill & tap the hole. The base is aluminum so go easy with the tap!
Now insert the set screw in the base and attach the base following Williams instructions. when the base is mounted per instructions and adjusted but not tightened, screw the set screw down into the stop hole and make sure the base slides back to stop against the hole's edge.
Now you can tighten everything up snugly except the set screw. remove the screw, apply a small bit of BLUE Locktite and reinsert it.
Install the sighting bridge and sight 'er in!
I've got 4 HW rifles with this set up and they never move!

That's a nice write-up, thanks.....I installed a Williams FP-AG-TK on my HW30S and it hasn't moved, but I could see potential issues with a more powerful springer. My mounting method was to dab some isopropyl alcohol on a Q-tip, wipe the dovetail & sight mounting edges clean, and once dry carefully torque the mounting screws. The screws don't actually touch the receiver so there's no chance of marking the receiver. The final action is to screw down a small screw in the top side of the mount which
iirc
goes into one of the receiver scope pin holes.
While the Williams sure is a nice sight if I had known about the Tech sight I may have gone with it instead, looks to be more rugged IMO. I actually just installed a 3/8" .050 low-light aperture in my Williams (acquired from Midway) and it's great!

Thanks numbertwo!
I have a set of Tech sights on my 10/22 and they work great.
I just have been with the Williams for so long (45 years) I hate to change!
I only target shoot (plink!) with mine about 20 yards or less so they are all I need.
