Looking a little further it seems the grip has changed somewhat. This one fits me better without mods than previously. The left side has been sculpted out and the grip has been refined a little if memory serves. The barrel crown looks more like the AV model. Not sure about the breech. Any comments?

Any comments?The AV46 has some type of plastic or fiberglass button near the breach to prevent excessive wear when closing the bolt.
Keep the screws tight, o-rings with the minimum amount of oil, keep pressure on the seals when not using the pistol and it will last forever.My partner in Kansas has documented (empty tins) of 50,000 shots on his used pistol.He has no idea on how many times it was fired before it was given to him.And, at 77, forever is moot.
Ernie,The Russian manual does not say to keep it pressurized but, we do with other pumpers so, I say “why not?”We discussed the theory a lot here on the GTA.
