Great thanks! What is the thread pitch? The only suppressor I have is M20x2. I'm using the Buck Rail 880 suppressor. I see he has a 1/2*20 which seems to be the standard. Santa needs to hurry up and bring me my Ender 3d printer!!!
What's the heaviest pellet you guys throwing in your 880/.22 conversion? What about 1922 conversion? I'm trying to keep the squirrels off my patio furniture and out of my attic. 25 yards max is my range.
Would a bent abutment pin cause a loss of power in 1922?
Ok. I got the mount and LDC attached. Very nice work. The only problem I had was one of the alignment screws on the LDC wouldn't stay put so I wrapped the whole thing in black duct tape. This thing is backyard quiet. I was sighting in the rifle and noticed I was not getting the satisfying smack that wadcutters give me on my steel spinning target. I broke everything down and did notice a 🍌 abutment pin. I do have a few stray 1/8" drill bits. I will change that out this evening. This thing is so close to being ready for Prime Time!!
In addition to the abutment pin I realized I did a terrible jb weld job sealing the barrel to the valve assembly. Also, when I opened up the breach I must've been too aggressive because my bolt is not sealing as well as it should. I've cut a drill bit and fitted that as my new abutment pin and my jb weld is curing. I have to figure out my bolt now.
It's ALIVE!! ALIVE!!!!Got the abutment pin in. Constructed from a 1/8" drill bit that I cannibalized. Sealed the barrel. The bolt I wrapped with dental floss and used gorilla glue (gel) to hold it all together...crazy but it seems to be working great. Time will tell.
