I paid $250 from Hatsanusa directly off their website. It was $300 - $75 Halloween coupon thingy + $25 shipping.I know I am guilty as charged for giving them the money despite all the warnings. So I am making only a small fuss Thanks! I looked up Youtube videos to fix cracks with gorilla glue. Maybe I will stick a dowel with epoxy if I can get an angle to put it in. Maybe I will go bold and drill from the outside and stick an abalone dot where the dowel goes in.But...while I knew that customer service is horrible, I didn't expect that I won't be able to reach them at all! That's a new low. But as I said, I know I deserve the whipping. I will take it and move on!If I don't hear from them this week, I will stick a scope on it and see how it shoots. It looks good otherwise.
I’ve been dealing with Hatsan’s customer service for a couple of years now without complaint. They have replaced two Quattro triggers quickly and I have purchased replacement parts from them on two other occasions. Try sending a request for service email and include pictures of the damage.
On a separate note, I was looking for the Exploded Parts Diagram for this specific model (The Mod 135 QE Vortex with the Vortex Gas Piston, not spring) and they don't seem to have it on their website. They have Mod 135 and Mod 135 QE on the list but both links seem to bring up spring powered version diagrams. What am I missing? How are people ordering replacement gas rams, stock bolts etc for the Vortex gas piston version?I am looking here:hatsanairgunsusa.com/exploded-product-diagrams/

The TR site also has this...hatsan.com.tr/vortex-gaz-piston-en/]https://hatsan.com.tr/vortex-gaz-piston-enMy most recent comment on Hatsan air rifles...gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=203466.msg156385763#msg156385763]https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=203466.msg156385763#msg156385763Yes, response time is not the best but I'm still a big Hatsan air rifle fan :-)For your specific problem I'd hope they would offer to swap you a new rifle or at the very least offer to ship an undamaged wood stock for you to replace. That only requires the use of a couple GOOD screwdrivers and should not be cause for breaking the Warranty.
I agree the crack in question is a life-threatening issue to the rifle, and fully a basis for a replacement stock free of charge.I've had only one airgun that had a cracked stock from new, a Weihrauch. The company written material claimed this is always due to operator error, namely letting the cocked barrel spring back without restraint, and not covered by the warranty. This made for some uncomfortable moments, especially considering I had NOT done anything iffy with the gun. But, contacting the retailer, who forwarded my well-documented case to the manufacturer, they did send me a brand-new stock, ASAP and free.
The 135 on the other hand, seems pretty accurate. A lot of members here mentioned that it kills whichever scope you put on it. So I put a knock-off sliding zer-recoil one-piece scope mount on the weaver rail and a Vortex AO 4-12x50 scope on it. Needed some shimming at the base of the one-piece to get the windage turret close to center, but it worked. Now it shoots CPHP pellets fairly accurately at 15 yards. Haven't had time to set it up and try longer range yet but fingers crossed. Cocking it is certainly a work out.
