piston bearings and O ring seal complete with particles from workbench
This is a B20 piston that fits into a B26 cylinder (hence the need for Delrin bearings. As we all know these guns were various sizes due to random quality control a few years back. But I never came across one that could not be made to behave !!

Thanks Scott
I have been running a B40 and an XS208 for three and a half years now with the piston extension and a rear ring with no problems. These are all sub 12fpe and used for HFT shooting the 208 is a .177 but both this gun and the B40 are in .22. I use the lightest pellets I can find to make the trajectory a bit more user friendly. The JSB RS are perfect for this and are accurate in all my guns so far. and the XS20/B26 that this piston is for even likes the Webley Accupel. Which is great as I bought 20 tins when I owned the HW100 as that was the pellet of choice for the gun. The extension enables a faster lock time and the milder spring tension required to achieve the 11+fpe makes for a very smooth and mild shot cycle with little to no actual felt recoil. The spring guides and top hats are All Delrin and the spring ends are mirror polished and lubed with Moly Paste. I use a brake cylinder honing tool on the actual cylinder compression area and make sanding flags for the slotted areas on the rear of the cylinders and remove all sharp edges with a saw doctors file set, which I inherited from my Father.
