I had previously made a steel version but since I had an old beat up brass punch so I decided to make another adjustment screw. This is in preparation to accommodating a home made set back trigger blade whenever I get the urge to mess with one. rather than mess with thread lockers to retain the adjustment screw adjustment I started cross drilling and tapping my aluminum Rekord "adjuster" for a nylon screw. When the screw is in place the nylon screw that was cut flush with the outside of the "adjuster" becomes compressed by the steel threads and does a dandy job of holding my trigger pull adjustment. Anywhoo.....I've been doing this simple mod to the factory "adjuster" for years!

It's shorter than my steel screw and still contains the cross drilled and tapped hole for a nylon "locking plug" (works a treat!)........
Funny thing is that I thought my first attempt was a failure because the M6x1.0 die I used was worn and created a really rough thread so I made another screw with a new sharp die............

After making the screw with the nice M6x1.0 threads I found that it simply wouldn't thread into the Rekord threaded tab. Puzzled, I took the "failure" and for some reason the raggedy thread screw worked perfectly so I finished the "raggedy thread screw" machining and it works perfectly! Go Figure!
