As many of you know I received a 1981 rws 36c new in the box several weeks back it had a scratch on the receiver, since then Gene lube tuned the air gun on my last visit and I finished the stock, here are a few pics since then. Thanks David

Was working on a way to bag his gun while he was here but he never took his eyes off of it...
Beleive me it is a beauty in person. And shoots straight as an arrow. I even hit target with peep sight at 35 yards. Could not believe it...
Hold on to her tight David cause there are aliens out there that will take her off you hands when not looking...

I will! It will be here on Monday. It was really strange. I sent Rocker his gun at 11 AM on Thursday and he had it before 10 on Friday! He sent the 36 on Wednesday and I'm getting it on Monday? Oh well I can't wait to open the box!

I know this is an old thread. But I did a google search for the RWS 36 c after reading a post from randy. This rifle is beautiful dave. Doesn't look like they sell them anymore though

With the Mendoza Sight on it
The scope that is on it is now on my Beeman 1051. That was one of the CP scopes that my eyes just never liked. It has some distortion at the edges that I never could get used to when I was aiming. I bought a couple of BSA scopes from Sportsmansguide for almost nothing. It lasted a long time on this rifle! However it finally broke it last week. Next time I'll get the more expensive BSA air gun rated scope. I have to say that scope was one of my favorites so it will be worth it to me to get one of their higher end scopes. I think I got that one for $19.
It was a 3 x 9 with a AO so I thought "what to heck".
As soon as it gets here, this rifle is getting my favorite hunting scope. It is a Leapers 3 x 9 non-AO with a fixed 35 yard parallax. I almost feel sorry for the squirrels!
I've had one on my TF 89 for forever and I honestly think that it is that scope that makes that rifle so deadly. You never have to mess with it. Most of the time I leave it on 6X. In fact in KS recently was the only time I've moved the magnification as the targets out there were twice as far away.
