After letting it aside for a good while, I decided to make some improvements on my Listone Ind. Taichi-X pcp rifle. The original regulator wasn't very effective and had to be replaced. I made a new one with the precious help from a few good folks here on the forum :D . https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=187986.0 (https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=187986.0)
The new regulator is working admirably as far as I can tell right now, but I wanted to add a gauge to see the actual regulated pressure.
Modifiying/drilling the receiver wasn't an option, so I made a tube extension/plenum with a 1/8'' NPT port (in 316L SS). Cutting threads in stainless steel can be tricky, and it WAS a tricky job ;D. Nonetheless the threads are better than the originals, and all clearances/tolerances are also better. The new part adds 1.675'' (42.5 mm) to the length of the tube.
I had to bore a hole in the forearm for the gauge, the job went well and looks clean. I sanded the hole edges with 400 grit sandpaper and applied just one heavy coat of danish oil to seal the grain, then wiped it clean after 15 min.
I want to make more tests and tuning on this gun, but it's shooting pretty well right now so I think I'll empty a few tins of pellets before revisiting it ;D.

Excellent craftsmanship!!
That is one good looking rifle, I’m glad you’re getting it’s performance up to par as well.
Thanks for sharing,

Thanks guys!
Dave, you're no stranger to nice work yourself, I saw a few of your threads ;) :D .

Thank you Marko, I like what you do too!
Did you ever saw one in Europe? I seem to be one of the very few in the Americas that has one, Listone Industries is not too prolific of these rifles it seems.
I just replaced the barrel for a choked LW in .177, and had to make a new barrel band for it, as the new barrel is bigger in diameter - 15 mm versus 12 for the old one. Made it in brass, fits like the original :D.

I think it’s a really neat looking rifle as well. I’ve looked around for it for sale but seems like the only places that sell it do not ship to US. I actually haven’t found the rifle, only the pistol.
Cool work on the barrel swap. We’ll be needing to hear how it shoots now.

Thank you Dave :D.
Will have results soon, working on a twin-regulator set-up.
I know there are short versions called the Victor (PCP and CO2) with same receiver but, is this the pistol you saw? OEM non-regulated PCP, 14'' .22 choked barrel, small brother of the Taichi-X rifle.

I have a Victor pcp. It’s different.
Here’s the pistol I was mentioning. It’s co2.
It’s basically the same as the picture you posted.

Have not seen one in person but do like the design. Good work on the band, looks awesome.

It is very close in design to a pp700 snow peak.
I wonder what the size difference is?
