Id really like to have a small drill mill and benchtop lathe. I have some projects I would love to do but tooling is stopping me.
nice.. how does the gear change work?? is it a combo of lever select and manual gear change like a g4000 or is it a quick change like the south bends?

Uses either a 30 tooth or 60 tooth gear in the drive train to allow anywhere from 4-224 threads per inch. The more I go through the lathe, the more I like it. It's definitely built to a much higher standard than my Grizzly G0776. I'm trying my best not to talk myself into keeping it.I forced myself to post it on Facebook marketplace and Craigslist. I'm shooting extremely high, hoping to make a trade for something a little smaller, or a small CNC lathe.
AustinB, I saw your Cl ad last week. I'm a big fan of Logans and the PM versions especially. I looked for a PM 11" for years, and then found 2 - 11" and 12" at an auction. I sold the 12" and kept the 11". Very nice lathe, and it looks good with the Powermatic mill, band saw and drill press. Still looking for that Powermatic Burke Horizontal! If I sold mine, I would put the same price on mine as you did, and not care much if it did not sell. In fact, I sold my 12" for $2750 3 years ago, to someone in East Texas.I vote to Keep the Logan
awesome platform for conversion.. mach 3 turn is pretty user friendly .. spindle bore is lacking in almost all the medium chinese models.
