Curious if anyone has used RAM mounts to make an adjustable knee riser. Please post pix if you have them.
Thanks,

Ugly but it works. Make sure you get the dogbone thingie thats tall enough. Rev 1 was a tad too short

Tried and didn't work. Not stabile enough, and wouldn't stay put. I bolted a short length of rail under a few stocks and use a scope mount that I replaced the top half of the ring with a chunk of wood. Not adjustable, but it works.

Interesting. Did you use the 1” ball type? How heavy was the rifle?
Thanks for any info.

I've also tried it using 1 inch balls and 4 inch arm. It is a little bit flexy unless you really crank down on the handle, which will eventually crush the balls (so to speak). It's hard to adjust because the sweet spot for making it adjustable without being floppy is very narrow. I eventually found that I just left it in the same position because it was a hassle to move it to another position and crank it down enough to stay put. So then I went back to a fixed riser and looked at buying an adjustable riser (I'm leaning towards the Mac1).
It's cheap enough to experiment with but not a great long term solution for serious work.

Great feedback. Thanks all.
I saw a nice one on EBay, Turkish walnut and black anodized aluminum, for $200ish. Pretty tempting.

My wife and I both used to use them.
I actually took tenth at the world event in Poland with one glued (yes glued) onto the bottom of my HW97 stock.
It works, but not extremely well, and the ball gets misshapen then doesn't hold properly.
I'd recommend using a SubMoa systems hamster. Best for the money.
