Love my B3's and B4's. I had one like yours, sold it and still have the one in plastic. Reason I kept it is the plastic version has one of the most comfortable pistol grips I ever held. Much like my Hatsan Dominator 200 carnine. The trigger is real different than a B4. B3 trigger is easier to take out and install. Springs for the anti- bear trap are different. On the B3 you have to take the trigger out to get the spring piston and compression cahember out. On a B4 you can use something to hold the sear down and get everything out.Curius what you mean by B4-2. I have four what I call B4-2's and two B4's the B4-2's are a little smaller than a B4 or B3. Shorter receiver. And the trigger guard is rounded and seems to big. The B4(same as a SMK DB4 sold in the U.K.) is same size as a B3 and the trigger guard is square and seems a little large. Also what I call a B4 sometimes has that strange scope mount attached to the rear of the rear sight like on a B3-1 AK or B5-1 AK.
I seem to recall buying my .22 B3 new for really cheap.. less than $50 I think... back in the stone age.. he he. Everything else is double or more now too.. so it makes sense. . I have always kept it in the hall closet to be quick to grab if there is a pest.. which will regret stealing bird seed because my B3 is deadly accurate across my back yard. he he.. Definitely an exception to the "get what you pay for" rule. It has just been collecting dust for years. This post reminds me that I should do some back yard plinking with it. I hope yours is really strong and accurate. Enjoy!
I always get excited and impatient.. no mater what price I pay for gun. I guess that is why I now have quite a few. Wishing you the best of luck and lots of fun!
Did you get the muzzle velocity before the reducing the transfer port. Seems a little slow.
