They might sound like a lot of work till you realize you only need 3-4 pumps for plinking.

I need pictures of 760's and their date codes.
I have a lot if not most of the info I need but there are some things I do not have.
I am working on getting all the info I possibly can together for a thread that will hopefully be pinned at the top here.
1 - I need to nail down the introduction of the current thing Crosman calls a 760, I know it was 2012 or 2013. ( I'd be happy to just ignore it but I can't)
2 - I need to figure out when the name changed from powermaster to pump master.
3 - I need to nail down when the 5 shot clips were introduced, I think '99 but Crosman doesn't exactly know when for sure.
If anybody can post their pictures with date codes I sure would appreciate it.
I'm pretty close to having all the info I know to look for, but it wouldn't surprise me to find more things I didn't know about.

I give my info again.
Here are my 4 760s
from top to bottom:
893 - 8th variant. plastic receiver, clip on sights, pumpmaster, 17.5" barrel
N86 - 7th variant. plastic receiver, welded sights, coleman on receiver and butt plate, pumpmaster, 19" barrel
480 - 6th variant. metal receiver, rifled barrel, screwed on sights, coleman on receiver and butt plate - does not say powermaster or pumpmaster, 19" barrel
1175 - 3rd variant. metal receiver, self cocking, screwed on sights, plastic stock, wood forearm, powermaster
here's the receiver on the '80 gun - no model name
Receiver of the '75 gun - nothing stamped on the "front" of the receiver
let me know if you want any other info from any of them.
I don't have anything newer than the '93

Thanks.
And as I suspected there are variations I didn't even know to look for.
I didn't know there were any not marked powermaster or pumpmaster, and that's another variation I will need to pin down.
Theres also the serial number location, if I'm not mistaken all 3 self cocker's I've had were SN stamped on the bottom of rhe receiver not the side .

Thanks that did help a little, I learned that the fiber optic front sight is gone.
I'm guessing it took Tom a long time to notice that current abomination, because I know they've been around since 2012 or 2013.

Yeah the 2 I currently have are '75 guns.and SN stamped on the bottom
The first I had was a 2nd variant that had a barrel band from either '68 or '78, seemed to me to be original to the gun and the SN didn't have a date code so my assumption is some older barrel bands were still in inventory during 2nd variant production or it was a replacement part from Crosman in '78 or so if the original broke.
The 2 I have now ( 1 is a parts gun ) are '75 guns with late 60's type wood furniture and earlier blued stamped steel triggers.
The only thing I learned from my guns is that the SN date code started earlier in the year than Crosman claims.
