I've resealed one and to the best of my recollection, if you have the barrel band, piston, and pump arm removed, the pump tube should pull off pretty easily.
I wonder if the oring that seals the valve body to the tube melted and bonded it.

Remove the setscrew that secures the barrel and remove the barrel.
This will expose a screw that holds the metal breech to the receiver.
Remove that screw and it should come apart.

yes I removed the barrel and the screw into the receiver and it looks like the receiver is stuck in the pump tube it just slightly rocks . I have tapped it pretty hard. thanks

If all the external receiver screws are removed the tube and breech should be free.
Perhaps some pictures would help?
Is this screw removed?

OK, I see now you were having trouble sliding the valve assembly out of the tube.
My apologies for the misunderstanding.
Probably gummed up from 50 years of use.
Valve parts are the same as used in the 2100 type gun.
The challenge is getting the valve cap off without ruining it.
Doesn't have a lot of area to grip onto and usually on with Loctite.
I chuck the cap in my lathe with a 5/8" ER-40 collet after applying some heat.
You can use a newer aluminum cap or get an old brass one if it gets damaged.

IIRC the V.1 766 valve stem is a tad longer than that of the 2100.
I use a stem from a Mod. 66 and trim to the same length as the 766.....seems to me that about 3/13" has to be trimmed off...
