After much consideration on what pistol/rifle I should get I decided on getting a 2300S. This is my first CO2 air gun so this is different for me. I've learned quite a bit here from those who have shared their experiences and I thank you all for that .
You will not regret it..
Good choice!I certainly wish CCS would come back.

For around $65 more, you can have a 1701P from UA.I have both platforms, the 17xx in carbine form, and I like both. The 17xx has a much better trigger though and much easier to load.
The PCP has a huge advantage when winter is around. To reiterate, the 1701P has a superior trigger mechanism. With its 10" LW barrel, it will print a single hole with 5 shots at 25 yards.

I thought it would be hard to pump up. Wow single hole at 25 yards!!! Stop your killing me!!! Oh well let me see how the 2300S goes and then next big sale I might jump on the 1701.
