Quote from: Mr.P on August 01, 2022, 01:03:32 PMone possibility is that the plenum in your regulator is filling slower than you are shooting. I’m guessing there’s a longer delay when you switch out magazines and that allows the regulator to pressurize more fully. That would explain the jump each time you start a new magazine but not why is steadily decreasing Have you tried taking shots with longer delays in between them just to see what happens there? Like try waiting 30 to 60 seconds between shots.Hi Mr. PYes I've heard that mentioned in various videos/forum posts. Is it normal to have that high of a jump though? What am I supposed to do when hunting? set my scope for that one really high point of impact, and wait 60 seconds between shots? or wait till I see a squirrel, fire a shot into the ground, then take aim?

I like my Avenger a lot, but for me the Avenger bullpup is as ugly as a mud fence.

Lol I didn't want to rain on Mikes parade but I agree with that sentiment on the bullpup. I like the looks of other bullpups, but on the avenger I like the classic look much more. But it sounds like he has plenty of beautiful guns; for a hunting beater you get the quality and price point of the avenger with the advantages of a bull pup.
I'll gladly listen to anything else anyone has to chime in, but I've started the return process based on Pasadena Mike saying the shot string should be mostly linear
I got my replacement avenger yesterday, shot 20 shots over the chronograph (it was very consistent) and went out for some target practice and ground squirrel hunting. All is well. Shot over 200 shots, today I'm cranking the power up and trying some NSA slugs. Very glad I got a replacement.

Sometimes the magazine is in a bit too far or a smidge too shallow and that bit of misalignment will make seating feel tighter than normal. I happen to have a box of FX .22 cal. Hybrids right on my desk and a Vernier caliper right next to it. These slugs are .0035 undersize (.250)
