I see that the blacks and greys are out of stock at Brownells. Could explain why I can't find the black on Amazon. Parkerizing Grey is the closest I can get...Boo hiss!

And the powder - $10. And an IR thermometer - $25. And a sand blasting compartment - $190. Blasting Medium - $45. And a dedicated Oven $25-$75? or more. Did I miss anything? It would be fun to try. But I'm wondering if I'm spending way too much on an old gun already. Of course then I would be set to powder coat anything metal including any other airgun parts. It all depends on you. Some people are OK with passable results, but I'm not.I have twin 2400KT's in the PI (ordered via Airgun Exporter and cost me a lot) that underwent cosmetic enhancement; i.e., powdercoat and reblue.Paid the gunsmith P1,200, around $21, to do 2 tubes and 2 breeches.Job like that would cost you hundreds of $ in the US.Anyway, both came out marvelous, but I told him to do 1 set 1st before he takes on the other one.The bluing equals my Air Arms S500's tube but darker.
