I took my Zoraki out for a few minutes of plinking this evening. I had a red dot mounted from previous use, but took it off to use the factory irons. I was shooting bullseye style, standing one handed and giving some hanging soda cans a fit at 10 meters. Previously I had only shot it from a rest, not how a pistol is intended to be shot in my opinion for what it's worth, and offhand is more fun. I had been shooting a lot with a restored Daisy 777, a IZH 46m, both very easy to cock, along with a HW 45 and 75, both hard to cock especially the 75. I find for ten meter shooting one pump on the Zoraki is sufficent to bounce a can nicely and makes for a more extended shooting session considering my 77 year old arms. I never had a job that required a lot of upper body and arm strength, so having gotten more interested in handguns this year am slowly developing more strength to hold a handgun better.
