Thinking of 3D printing this attachment for an AR buffer tube. Still need a couple tweeks for the receiver attachment but will use the same mounting method as the wood stocks. There is an attachment point for AR style pistol grips also.

Now to get the printer up and running, think this one will work. I measured the receiver stock angle at 17 degrees. Does that sound correct?

The 880 is my favorite platform. I like this concept and can't wait to see it on your gun.

Got it off the printer this morning. I'll post pics later. Looks like it will work good for metal receivers. I am going to go ahead and make another model to work with the the new receivers with the added bolts.

Very nice! I would love one if you print them to sell.
I am looking for that attachment for my DAR, I just need to find someone to print that with the hammer spring cap threading.

Once I get a mounting plate the metal receiver version will be ready to install and test. I worked on a plastic receiver version that should work with metal receivers also but won't be as tight as using a plate and tension screw/net like the wood stocks. I'll get with Ronno6 for the mounting plate.

Looks great!
FYI..the mounting plate has a 3/8" OD projection to add threads to the hole......
The hole in your adapter your adapter will need to clear that at the receiver end.....
You gonna do some AR style forearms?

I will test the plastic receiver part soon, once I get that interface worked out I'll design a handguard. Will be a 3/4 handguard with open bottom for pump handle. I am thinking the attachment will use the pump pivot, replace the pin with a shoulder bolt that goes threw the handguard mounting block, frame and pump arm upper pivot boss. It will engage the receiver halves like the forearms but will add threaded rod internally to the handguard and use the threaded rod to tension the handguard for a tight fit. For the buffer adapter I modified the adapter to drop the receiver interface angle to 15 degrees. I threaded the grip hole 1/4-20 instead of the normal 1/4-28. Coarse threads do much better in plastic than fine threads.

I'm on the fifth revision of the plastic receiver version but I should have a tight fitting final version this week to test. Once complete I'll post the model to thingiverse.

Knurled brass inserts. I will use a solder iron to install (melt in) the inserts. Like the pic below. I ordered the inserts so just waiting on getting the interface perfect before I install the inserts.

Hot set insert example. These things are super nice for printed parts.

While waiting on prints I started designing the handguard. The front bracket will attach with a 6mmX30mm shoulder bolt, through the bracket, frame, and pump handle. To roll stabilize it I will reuse the forward stock mounting screws. I will add #10-24 or #10-32 threaded inserts to the back of the bracket for all thread rods on either side of the frame that will push against the back of the handguard to force it into the receiver for a tight fit. Once tightened the handguard can be screwed down to the front bracket using the Mlok slots and fasteners. I have not added that part to the model as of yet. The handguard will be four printed pieces including the forward bracket, mid bracket (used to screw the two Mlok pieces together) and two Mlok outer shells. The receiver side outer shell will have the same mating surface dimensions as the factory forearms and the inside will have pads for the tightening rod. I'm thinking about adding a picatinny rail to the top. Ideas?

Adding a pic rail to the top would add versatility as well as strength.
