I also would like to know about the results from Will Piatt. I have sent him two email over the past couple weeks and received no answer. Calling is not a good option for me as my hearing is shot. Would be pure frustration for us both.
Quote from: Randy00 on November 26, 2020, 02:44:39 PMI think Sam Yang wants the barrel shroud to be left on. Seems to be a 2 part shroud with the shortest length of it from the barrel band to muzzle. I tried to remove it by hand CCW but it won't budge. Removed the stock and no obvious way to remove it back at the receiver. There is an empty threaded hole on the top of the barrel band that looks like it's supposed to keep that part of the shroud in place but no set screw is in there. I'm wondering if they used epoxy to set everything in place. Either way, at the moment, it isn't coming off. Which makes for a pretty sloppy barrel cleaning. Did you ever figure out how to remove the barrel?

Did you ever figure out how to remove the barrel? once you have it torn down underneath the upper half there is a small hole down in there is a 2mm set screw once that is lose and the transfer port is removed it should come right out use the transfer port to get the barrel in the right position to put it back in
Hi DJ, can't help with the size of that one but here is the email address that got me the size for the one I needed. (tech.airventuri.zendesk.com) Took a few days to get a response. Wish diagrams and parts weren't so much trouble. Good Luck! Rodger

Got a quick response asking for clarification on caliber, which should not matter.

Hi DJ, The inner breech o-ring is M1.5mm x 6.5mm positively. I haven't had mine apart yet so can't help on the outer o-ring size. You can help me by telling me how to get the moderator unscrewed without destroying it. Too tight for a band wrench and I'm afraid to heat it. Thanks, Rodger
DJ the probe on mine is 6.35mm. I tried the 010 o-ring and the probe cut it on the first closing. The M1.5mm x 6.5mm works perfectly. No leaks. The o-ring must be a little larger than the probe to fit properly or you will be shaving the o-ring when you close the action. The o-ring is forced to seal on firing by the air pressure.
DJ how did you take the moderator off? I'm guessing there is a little goop on the threads. Kinda afraid I'll damage it. Seems pretty weak and its very thin. Yes, all of these companies(the ones I've delt with) are bad about parts except Crosman. I don't understand it.
