This was a subject brought up here back around 2009 and I was wondering if those wood 440 hunter stocks were still available? I believe the poster's ID was AKCJ1977 and he explained all the little parts that were also needed. Can this still be done today or is Gamo a bit more isolated? I had really wanted a wood stock for my Gamo Whisper springer break barrel but there doesn't seem to be much help out there when trying to get this done.

Parts are a taboo thing with gamo. I'm surprised you can still get a breach seal without a fed frirearms license. Lol.
May look overseas there more open to parts that your not getting here in the USA. They don't want you to maintain there guns just go buy another new one .
Looks like gamo usa is full into plastic everything.

Any stock that fits the B19 platform should be able to go wherever the Gamo 440 goes. The B19 is a clone of the 440.

In case you're unaware, the Crosman NP series (other than the NPXL) is built on the B18 / B19 platform.

A few years ago Gamo sold off their wood stocks for about $30 each on Gamo USA web sight when they discontinued the wood ones. They no longer have them listed though. I had a .177 & .22 Crosman Quest that I got from a Gander Mountain clearance sale but hated the cheaper wood on them. I ordered two from Gamo and got a 440 and Hunter Elite stock. They both fit B19 based Quests with a little work. Mainly the front stock screws had to be plugged and drilled about 1/8" higher. If you can find one in classifieds or some where a 440 hunter should fit a Gamo if it is a B-19 type gun. They even sent me the cone shaped back end plug that was so different from a Quest to use on the Elite stock. They are Beech wood I think. These guns shoot great with ARH seals and springs. The sights are Thompson Centers drilled to fit the Quest breech holes. Front ramps are Williams brand on Remington Summit muzzle brakes. Got the guns for 1/2 price so I did not mind spending a little to have fun tinkering on them and I learned a lot about springers.

I'd try a email to gamo eu
Maybe unlike gamo usa they can send you one for there still available wood stock model s?
https://www.gamo.com/en/page/2/?s=Stock&lang=en
Or like said above find something close and mill and drill to fit.
Just to ask what is at issue with the plastic out side ugly?

I'm going to give up on this. I want a wood stock but it looks like it will never happen. I tried on the International site and it would not allow me to send the request. I'll learn to live with the plastic stock. Thanks to all of you for trying help.

If Crosman has any of the Optimus wood stocks (part#CO1-K77-01-00) or Vantage (part#B19-2x-C-01-00) in the parts department, they are B19 based guns and would fit with a little work. The breech plug area would need to be trimmed out to fit the larger Gamo plug, the trigger is the same and the front action screw holes are very close but may need a little adjusting. If you need a trigger guard the Crosman one is the same as the 440. I had very little trouble fitting Gamo stocks to Crosman so you would be doing the reverse. Don't know if you want to go to that trouble though. These are in addition to the Nitro piston ones Roadworthy mentions above. You could probably fit a Crosman plastic breech plug in the Gamo gun and not have to trim out the Crosman wood stock. I also removed the anti-beartrap stuff and safety because I thought they were too junky. I don't know if they would have required any fitting. My older springers did not have them so I don't miss them and I'm the only one shooting them.
