Using a translucent-sided bin is a GREAT idea. I’ve cursed the opaque walls on my pellet traps when shooting outdoors and the object placed into the trap is not well lit due to sunlight shining from the side instead of from behind me and into the box.

Something like what my photo shows could be placed in the box. For smaller targets, cut or drill holes in the foam to hold them in place. A 12 oz soda can fits perfectly in the pellet tin foam holes.

I took a piece of 1/8 plywood drilled a hole into it, attached a pvc/ rubber type keychain hanging over the hole.



I have no clue where I got this particular keychain at since I'm not in or have I ever been to Pennsylvania but it was red so I used it.
I have others from the local annual farm show, but they're white.
