Because the Umarex Gauntlet is based on the QB and shares the exact same trigger group I'd say yes but I personally never tried it.

Is it possible to only purchase the adjustable hammer spring end cap or do I need to order the entire kit?  I have the kit on my Gauntlet already. I just want to avoid the cost of the whole kit for my qb79 since all I want for this project is the end cap.

It is possible yes but I do not have the adjuster listed separately on the website. Just head to my site, scroll down to the bottom, and send me an email and I'll work something out for you.
