The price has gone down from 219 to 209 to 189.Is there any news on a new model? I gather even though it is regulated but that is not very effective.

Some folks have had regulator issues... but I'm not one of them. I have the slightly "older" model... these are made by SPA; Snow Peak Airguns, out of China. Regulated, adjustable trigger, adjustable regulator, adjustable hammer spring tension, adjustable transfer port.Superbly accurate. Very not-picky when it comes to pellets. Out of the 19 different types of .177 pellets I've loaded in the breech, 2 are not accurate at my desires. Mine is shooting about 13 FPE, and it works with everything from 7 grain wadcutters to 15 grain domes- and yes, mine is only a .177.I've killed in the neighborhood of 40 squirrel with mine, along with a few dozen sparrows- everything with headshots- at distances from 12 to just a hair shy of 40 yards.

Glad you got the better draw. But I do not want to deal with regulator headaches. I hope the new version can have improvements there.
Sorry to bust your bubble, but in CA, airpistols are not legal for rabbits. The regs are specific as to airrifles only.
Rabbits are "Small Game", and therefore fall under the hunting regs. Jackrabbits however are non-game and are thus non-regulated. Read the regs and maybe get a depredation permit from Fish and Game for the bunnies. Ground squirrels are open season targets.
