PA Pellet packaging

I am getting pretty tired of this now.
I ordered 4 tins of pellets from PA, 2x FTTs and 2x JSB 15.9.
They failed to fill the box with the foam pads above and below the pellets. The only foam layers were ones directly around the circumference of the tins, only cardboard on the top and bottom. This left and air gap in the box that apparently allowed the contents to piston back and forth in the box with the expected effect of denting half the tins.
So, gracious as they are, PA sends two replacement tins for free. The packaging on these was even worse (just two tins instead of 4, foam packed the same way - nothing above and below. The FTTs look ok, but the JSB tin looks like someone beat it with a metal rod - straight line dent all the way across the lid.
PA is offering to replace these AGAIN, but what happened to the full box foam packaging? Too much cost? How much does it cost to continually and repeatedly replace every order!
I don't think I am going to buy ammo from PA again. I have a shipment of 4 tins coming from AGD tomorrow....we'll see how well those got packed!
If I wanted dented ammo, I would just order from amazon.

Unfortunately, the pellets you just ordered from AGD will come from Solon, OH...which is where PA also happens to be. Different names but same company and anything I've ever ordered from AGD always comes from that same address in OH.

That is odd. I just received 4 tins of pellets from PA the were in a cardboard box exactly the same size of 4 of their normal foam / cradboard / shink wrapped packaging for each tin.
I figured with the buy 4 pay for 3 campaign they had it down to a science... Honestly, they fit so well I wondered if the box was sized fit the 4 foam blocks, or if they sized the foam to fit that particular box size... (x4)

I ordered the 500 tin of JSB 18.13's yesterday from Trenier, as a matter of fact Steve I think it was you that recommended them when I posted a thread about bad service that I had gotten from PA myself. Things will have to start changing drastically if I order from PA again. Trenier is cheaper than PA too, especially if you just want to order one tin or two instead of four, it works out to be about the same price if you consider the 4th tin free from PA.

My AGD order came properly packed with no damage. 4 tins total, with the extra layer of foam on one side to fill the box.
The box was slightly crushed on one corner too, but no damage to the contents.

Wayne, thanks for reminding me about Trenier.
I need to order some pellets and have been contemplating the "whar they come from" part. I've not had any problems from PA regarding pellets yet, but I like spreading the wealth around.

Shhhhhhhh - don't give away the secret. I just ended up getting four tins/800 pellets of .25 Barracuda Hunter HP's from them for free plus they gave me a $15 credit due to inadequate packaging on their part resulting in damage to the tins.

Can't deny anyone else's experience, but PA continues to ship pellets that arrive problem free - at least to NC - in my orders. The box I received last week didn't have the separators between layers that they've had in the past, but the pellets were all wedged so tightly, they hadn't made contact. Top and bottom cushions still present in the packing, just removed for the picture.
