Wayne- I have been following the reviews & posts on the AEA guns & haven't heard anything but good so far. Maybe one in my future? I've got 2 semi's & they both have there issues. The SAM you know about & my .177 Hatsan Galation which does function fine but because of the way the action operates if you put a moderator on it then it won't cycle & it's LOUD. 3 strikes & your out, so any other semi that i get better be 100% reliable.
So if I understand correctly, the bolt can cock the hammer but the hammer doesn’t cock the bolt? Or if it does, it fires from open bolt?Or does the air pressure on bolt do the work of cycling just the bolt? If this is the case, you could definitely cut out some trouble shooting if the hammer cocks but not bolt…I would like to learn more about this gun. Hope a solution is simple. Dave
Wouldn't that be a matter of the spring tension pushing the bolt forward, the rotational speed of the mag, and the resistance to pellet chambering?
