FX Superior Liners for FX Slugs
« on: November 27, 2021, 01:59:26 PM »
Anyone have a report on using the "Superior" liner vs. the stock pellet liner for the FX Hybrids? (Or other slugs for that matter for the superior.)

I just found out about these new liners. I have been shooting the "Hybrid Slugs" in a .25 Wildcat III (700mm) barrel. Accuracy is good (~5/8" at 50Y) but 33.95 JSBs are significantly more accurate. Would the Superior liner close that gap? Any other reason to switch?

I believe the superior is the standard liner in a wildcat mk3?  The only two options they have for .25 are the standard superior liner and the superior heavy liner.  The FX Hybrid slugs tend to do best in the standard superior liner, because they are a bit light weight to work well in the superior heavy.  At least, that's what I remember reading.  I personally only shoot .22 and .30 in the FX liners.

You may need to shoot the hybrids faster to get them to tighten up.
