I just chased off a possum, so I don't think I'll get any rats tonight.

The first thing I did after the first 50 shots was to put a Vortek SHO tune kit in it.It was just as accurate without it though, but it's a bit more quiet now.And breaking in happens as you shoot it.

Oh happy day finally !!! Do it right "out the gate" you would think with the money they're asking for these rifles they would finally produced one that don't need MODing. WOOT!
CW,All spring air rifles do better with little love. Clean, polish, debur, just the way it is...... If you do not want to do it on Weihrauchs, Dianas, get a Walther LGV or U or AirArms. They are better finished and more money! -Y

By doing a clean polished and debur will this void the factory warranty ?
Nice shooting! You mentioned something about a bait station. I assume it's for some kind of pesty rodent, but with that kind of accuracy you should set up a bait station with old apples or something and start blasting hornets and wasps. I hate those things!I'm also a fan of the .20.
Love the HW97's but I have always been vexed by the ominous .20 cal....is it a perceptibly different "feeling" caliber to shoot? Why choose it over just a typical .22?

Why choose it over just a typical .22?The theory is that .20 offers the flatter trajectory of a .177 pellet and the punch of a .22 pellet. Unfortunately pellet choices are very limited and I believe that the day will come when nobody make any .20 pellet. -Y
