I would do a 25 mrod they have green mountain barrels and are accurate . There is also a ton of mods that can be done to a mrod including upping the power
I have bought 5 used Marauders and never paid over $325. Get a used .25 marauder and a TSS from JSA and you will be happy. 45fpe and good shot count. If you feel the need for 60 fpe, get a different valve down the road.
Seems like most of you recommend the .25 in marauder, how is pellet availability and pricing vs. the .22? What type of accuracy at 50yds should I expect from one? Thank you all for your help!

Marauders in .25 have a barrel from an outside supplier with a very good reputation. For pellets, most likely few if any in a lot of locations. But look at the PyramydAir website to compare prices.
Don't forget that the Disco has some trade in value. A lot of folks here just add to their collection.
Sounds like you guys like them so I am going to try and sneak one past the warden after the holidays I think lol, I live on a farm so run across a variety of game and coyotes bother with the calves so...

Calves have an intrinsic value and face value. The cost of a vet to stitch one up ain't cheap. If a coyote has rabies you are not only protecting the calves but your family and yourself from a rabbit coyote.Just my take and thought.
I prefer my outlaw for my .25 surprisingly. I still love my custom .22 mrod tho.
If it seems hard to find .25 pellets , in the long run a NOE pellet mold in .25 would be a convenient alternative.
