Pulled out the Career last week and was disappointed to find it wouldn't hold a charge. It's been sitting in the safe untouched for at least a year.
I'm no expert in repairing PCPs and had trepidation in taking on the repair. In the end this turned out to be an easy fix. I want share the work and hope that it might be useful later to someone else.
The first figure shows the source of the leak. The brass colored pressure valve can be easily removed by hand.
The second figure shows the valve assembly. If one looks carefully at the center of photo, the damaged O-ring can be seen.
The third pictures shows the O-ring and pressure cap.
The final picture is the damaged O-ring. It's a R-02 (ID=4.4mm, Xsection 2mm) metric sized ring.
I hope someone will benefit from this information. Thanks for reading.
Cheers,
Jerome
