I've been considering doing a bottle conversion with a 13 cu in bottle... Like this:I just don't feel that I'm going to get the number of shots, or the power I want w/the size of reservoir I'd like. Ideally, I would run a 1701 length tube- but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to get 2 shots from that... Also, I'm going to have to not shoot those 70 gr. slugs- I think they're going to be too heavy for the platform I want to run...New idea:16" OAL main tubeBaker 22xx big bore breechBaker .25 barrel for big bore breech (.5" O.D.)Powerhouse valve .25" TPExclusively shoot the NOE 34-38 gr cast pelletsThis pistol is meant to be shot from shooting sticks, or from a rest. I've always wanted to build a powerful .25 Crosman "pistol" in the 22xx platform. We'll see how this goes.
When I am deer hunting I carry my .357 Colt Trooper under my left shoulder. Not for the squirrels but for two legged critters who try and steal deer from an old man.For the squirrels (and noisy chippers) , I carry a Ruger MarkIII under the other shoulder..
Tom,That’s a sweet looking pistol. You may want to start off with a stock tube and make it shorter to keep the fpe you want. You may not enough cc’s to get to the power level you desire.
use a non regged tank , then you gain 2 fold.. One would be power, and 2 would be shorter oal.. since you would be essentially using the tank as the plenum
I've shot that came bottled prod before. Excellent build. A guy named Mike built it. I've been thinking about a similar build with 13ci bottle and 12" .25 barrel but only looking for 30fpe. Pocket popper, not a pocket cannon.

Downtown Chicago I like your way of thinking, but I'd a whole lot rather be more "stealthy" while I'm in the woods.Still thinking about building a small, quiet, 14 ft/lb short barreled pistol. I like all the ideas bouncing around here Ray

Which would take a looooong time! I already thought about that. But the idea kind of died off due to lack of parts. The heaviest slug I'll be shooting will be around 50+ gr. Less than 60 grains anyway- after I send it off for hollow pointing. It's NOE's 250-65-FN mold. It's only a touch heavier than those 44 grain pellets that Joe's shooting through his .30 pistol build. So it should work out okay... Quote from: Tonycalves on June 12, 2018, 10:57:47 AMI've shot that came bottled prod before. Excellent build. A guy named Mike built it. Thanks for all the great input y'all!! Keep it coming! I think I'm gonna stick to these parts:Baker big bore breech for a .50" O.D. barrelBaker .50" O.D. .25 barrel (18.875" OAL)Don Cothran Powerhouse valve for 22xx/Disco w/the .250" TPDon Cothran 22xx barrel band for a .50" O.D. barrel16" OAL main tubeBlue Fork Design trigger for 22xxWe'll see how well this build does in the power/number of shots dept.

Look at magnum air power he has alot of different things there you may need or just to get more ideas
...then found magnum sells a shorted disco tube... sounds like a fun little gun to shoot , watching this thread

The plan is to fire 3 (or more? Probably not though) shots and re-fill the air. No need for a gauge. I'm still combing over his page though...

I would be well prepared for ole dude This magnum powered pistol is really gathering alot of attention.I hope this turns into a build thread!Ray

They have a gauge bypass
...14 ft/lb would suit me fine if it was shrouded... And I still hope this thread turns into a build thread Ray
And yea, 14 ft/lb would suit me fine if it was shrouded.
