When I get tired of pumping air I love the breakbarrel and the Gamo is great to shoot. That being said, my most accurate breakbarrel is my 40 year old Slavia 630. Not as powerful but pellet on pellet accurate to 40 yards.
I have several break barrel Gamo modelsBig Cat in 177Silent Cat in 22But I absolutely like the Swarm Maxxim is 22 my best for hunting!Great multiple shot feature, with good accuracy and hard hitting velocity for hunting small game.I used the standard CR 14.3gr HP's and the Gamo 15.3gr red tips for best lethal results. At 20 yards the Swarm Maxxim breaks out the back of a 3/4" white pine target backing...plenty of power for my uses!Oh, did I mention the fast multiple shot feature...?
