They will mainly serve as backyard shooters, kind of like my springers. When I just want to grab a gun and go out and shoot a while without worrying about taking a tank or anything else out. I have a 22 Kral Bigmax and a 22 cal Hatsan Nova. Both are high shot count guns that get 32-34 FPE. The Nova gets about 80-90 shots and the Kral get over 120 shots. I shoot JSB 18 grain pellets in both the Nova and Bigmax. I’m happy with 23 FPE from the Gauntlet especially since at 35 yards it shoots the Crosman hollow points from Walmart as well as any pellet. Have you tried pushing your barrel (lightly) to one side to see if POI changes?

I understand getting more for less I also have went that way a few times. Not sure what all Joe B. has. The best thing to do is call him he will bend over backwards to help a customer. I do know that the Gauntlet seems to be his go to gun from what I have seen on the American Air Gunner show. I am sure more than likely he has what you need. I have purchased from him a few times good guy to deal with.
That sure is a great increase in fps Paul, that you seen switching the tanks and regulator. Did you ever figure out what psi the new reg is actually putting out? That sure puts it in a nice hunting range for power!

These parts must have ended up on the slow boat!
Norman, I had reservations about the looks of the Gauntlet. But the longer bottle magically changes its looks. Much better looking now!!! Knife
Sorry if it seems like I am hijacking this post .... but it is related!Anyone swapping your 13ci tank, I NEED a 13ci tank (without regulator) for a project I am working on. Please PM me.Thank youTJ
Hey Wes,Thank you for the link, I kept finding 23ci tanks or 13ci WITH the regulator! Thing is, I can buy locally for about $40 with the regulator, which I don't need nor will use, so I was hoping somebody will end up with one laying around, that I could pickup for cheap and shipping.Cheers,TJ
So........Everyone is adding the 23ci tank but nobody has posted a shot count before falling of reg.
Quote from: Tygon on December 09, 2017, 08:32:03 PMI have an easy system, I just fill up after I've shot 11 magazines. I'm air independent so I really don't worry about getting all the possible shots before refilling.
