That's a nice looking gun there Diesel. couple questions on the 23ci tank. Is it the same dia. as the 13ci tank and if so where did you purchase it?
Dang it, yer makin' me wish I wouldn't have canceled my order ;-) LOLLong and lean. That bottle just adds to the allure ;-)
Like Norm, I also added a 23ci bottle to my .22 Gauntlet, but I went with a regulated bottle. The down side is I have to turn the tank ⅛ of a turn to access the fill port since the regulator is set-up with the fill port at a 90 degree angle from the gauge. But, the plus is I have a second bottle that can be filled and brought with me for another 60-80 shots. Even with 1500 psi left in the bottle, it can be turned enough to access the port and refill it without having to degas every time I need to refill.Shooting 18.52gr H&N Hunter Extremes, I'm averaging 716 fps/21 fpe with the stock 13ci tank and 813 fps/27 fpe from the 23ci tank! I'm very happy with the results.

The Gauntlets were guns I really didn't need. I got smokin deals on both so I was helpless trying to resist buying them. They will mainly serve as backyard shooters, kind of like my springers. When I just want to grab a gun and go out and shoot a while without worrying about taking a tank or anything else out. I have a 22 Kral Bigmax and a 22 cal Hatsan Nova. Both are high shot count guns that get 32-34 FPE. The Nova gets about 80-90 shots and the Kral get over 120 shots. I shoot JSB 18 grain pellets in both the Nova and Bigmax. I’m happy with 23 FPE from the Gauntlet especially since at 35 yards it shoots the Crosman hollow points from Walmart as well as any pellet.
I do not have a Gauntlet yet but thought I would pass on some information on the 23ci tank. Joe B. has the Catalina 23ci steel tank Made in the USA for $49. I think he may also have the regulator. I purchased a 23ci tank for my TalonP when I converted it to a carbine. That has been more than a year ago so not sure what he is asking for it now. Yes it did increase my shot count.
