I might be game to put my gun up but I fear I would get back what someone else considered the ultimate unit. You and I very well could have different opinions of that. I think it's a pretty good idea but I have my own goals for my gun. Maybe would be a bigger challenge if the donator announced what he/she is after and all the tuners contributed to reach that goal. Each improving on the former. Before turning the gun to the next tuner one would post the stats of their progress.

Guys the rifle is being finished right now and has already been well documented from Day 1 of the project it started as a .25 Gen 2 Marauder with synthetic stock. The parts list include War NBH , Cothran Powerhouse valve 24" aftermarket .30 barrel and a final tune fr somewhere between 80 and 100 FPE. The final results and grocery list will be posted after the final tune is completed
I would like to know what the exact cost, associated with a full, everything you can do, tune? That seems to be the one thing that is never mentioned. I'd surmise the first answer will be , " Well that depends on the gun.So, lets start with the Marauder and then move to the Kral.

That would require a thread of its own in short you could put from $10 to easily $800+ into one if you want to go all out with a full tune by an expert and tons ofaftermarket parts, there isn't really a limit what you can do to a rifle... be it benchrest, FT, big bore, 12fpe plinker, barn hunter etc.
