Hey Bob.I agree on that trigger, it is some heavy, but still manageable, I got used to it.I personally shot Golfballs at 40 yards with a non AO old Center Point 4x32 Scope and Winchester Domed 9.8 grains 5 times out of 5 with hits. The only mods I have made to it, is the GEO LDC on it, what makes it quiet and also stabilizes the straw barrel pretty good and adds more to accuracy. For the loading part, I use the cheap Dollar Tree Tweezers for it, I got a 5 pack for a dollar plus taxes, it has 5 different ones in the pack, I prefer that clamping one with downpointing noose. That just works fine for me.Here is a link to GEO's website and to the things you can order from him:http://www.airgununiverse.net/wp/items-for-sale/that LDC is really a good investment in the 880 for my 2 cents.
It looks like I'll follow the same sort of path with the 880, picking up another one and subjecting one of them to the popular modifications. I recently quit smoking and $35 is about a week's worth of what used to be cigarette money.
I tried the black tape mod on the end of the barrel, but it didn't seem to help much.

The questions on my mind now: Is there an off-the-shelf Daisy that is accurate with BBs? And, what would be considered "accurate" as far as BB plinking goes? What is the accepted range for accurate shooting with BBs? I need to put things in perspective because the accuracy I'm getting with the BB guns I've shot recently is nothing like what I remember (mis-remember?) from my childhood...Tight groups,Bob
I know some of you guys really like BBs. But with todays quailty pellets and the accuracy you can achieve with them forget BBs glue the BB door shut. LOL
