Phoenix Az questions.

I'm entertaining the idea of taking a job there. How is living in Phoenix? How about cost of living? Price of gas? Rent?

I'm an outdoors kind of fellow and I know there is plenty to do around the area. Anything really stand out?

I used to got to Pheonix allot years ago. It has to be where the Devil was raised. Extreme heat from June till September. Mostly in the 105 to 120 degree range most of the time. Winters are cold and harsh with winds. Traffic was heavy to say the least. Roads were not kept up properly.

Lots of desert cactus and brush. Flat as the kitchen table. Oh and forgot the monsoon season.

i take it gene doesnt like phoenix heh. all i can say is the airport terminal is nice (connecting flight) hot as sin though in mid june

hahahahahahaaha.........sounds like an indoor kind of place!

That part of the world is hot, hot, hot.  And dry.  Low humidity.   Desert.  But who knows, you may find it to your  likeing.   And if you get tired of the job you can always leave.   I have entertained buying some property in northern Arizona but getting water is a serious problem in the boonies.
I was told that I could have it trucked in by tankers.  As much water as my Wife uses I would need to have Lake Mead hauled in on a monthly basis.
