Suggestions .... Practice !! Shooting how you will at the match ( Bucket or stool, Bipod & Gun ) Figure out NOW how to best position yourself for minimal motion when settled in for the shot.Get your technique of rifle hold breaking the shot and following threw to give you the best accuracy potential. Now vary your practice distances on differing target sizes ( Simple Felt pen CIRCLES drawn along Coins 1/2 to 2" diameter ) on a piece of paper or cardboard allow you to see how badly your missing or how well your doing getting inside the drawn circle Did I mention PRACTICE lol. i wish i had more time to practice, but i can shoot. i can shoot prone, but with alot of drama behind it, so i decided to a bucket/stool. and sticks. i ne ver shot off sticks and bucket. lol the comp is in 2 weeks. my sticks should be here today. i just got a new 3x12scope and i have a lid for a bucket..but my bucket is oo tall so i'm in search of a shorter one. but i have a little plastic stool that will suffice. i have to tape my side wheel and do accurate marks on it. hopefully i can get alot of practice in this weekend. i'm woefully prepared, but i have to check it out. i've wanted to try this for awhile. i have 7 gamo targets with reducers and a couple paper target stands so i'm good on some targets..i think my son has some rubber dinosaurs that need culled also.lolthanks for the tips..did you say practice ?peacekj
Holding the bi-pod is legal ... Many with enough arm length to get a hand on Yoke with an elbow on the knee DO SO !! ( Those with Bi-pod out near end of fore-stock ) ..... Or if you yoke rifle in near trigger guard.
