Good shooting, Frank. I assume that target was at the prescribed 5 M? I don't know if it's the gun, the pellet, and/or me but, my new 499b is nowhere near that accurate with the Daisy Premium Grade Precision Max silver BB. Is there any kind of 'break-in' period for my new 499b or, is it me and my old eyes? My nw open-sighted 901 is much more accurate at 10 M than is my 499b; ergo, more fun.

I ordered two from Daisy ($12.00 each) and one of them was more accurate than the original.

My 499b will put all five pellets in the black of a NRA 5 M target but so far it hasn't put all five into a single hole. The rifle is a whole lot newer than me and my eyes, I'll keep trying before I make any material adjustments. Maybe it's me? Shooting a target that is only ~16.5 feet away, ain't much fun.
I would think at 10M that would be a top notch BB rifle group.
