“COME ON MAN”
I’m hoping to get the funds set aside for a high end .25 cal pellet shooter. The RAW is at the top of the list. Great shooting.
Greg, SPECTAULAR GROUP @ 94yds! These RAW HMx LRT's are built just for that...Long Range Target shooting! They will always do their part....I known when I miss, it's definitely not the rifles fault! LOL! The triggers are so light but so predictable....luv the pronounced stop...then....glass...and off the projectile goes! The trigger really helps with accuracy.....as well as the barrel, the machining, the fit and finish...LOL! How are your liking the new LDC? Quiet I'm betting. You do know that there are both right and left load mags that fit any breech...just in case you have a large side wheel attached to your scopes parallax wheel on the left side. Keep enjoying and smiling shooting that laser! Oh..don't forget to keep a large stash of ammo to shoot..LOL! You might want to try FX pellets....they are usually more available than JSB and I know thru my .22 are just as accurate. I purchase my pellets from Jeff @ Trenier Outdoors, great great guy, ships asap, wonderful communication and excellent prices.
Yesterday late in the day it was dead calm so I shot a few groups at 94 yds. The first group was about 1.125" ctc and then this happened. This is a 6 shot group. The stray pellet to the left is on me. (I'm still getting accustomed to the second stage hair-trigger.) The RAW just started to groove pellets - this is 5 pellets within 3/8" at 94 yds. I have targets setup at 50, 75 and 94 yds. and I don't bother shooting the RAW at anything other than 94.I know that this is an expensive rifle, but if you desire long-range accuracy and precision, I'm not sure that you can do much better than the RAW.

I don't mind the looks of the new LDC...it grows on you...definitely makes the gun backyard friendly. I'm using JSB MkII 34gr. I understand that FX are really JSBs...I have some in 25gr. Haven't found any slugs that match the pellets in consistency yet but have only tried FX Hybrids and NSA 29 flat-bottomed. I see ebay has trial sets of Griffins. I'll checkout Trenier next order. Thanks for heads up.

Nice shooting Greg ,Is your gun still 100% OEM?With my RAW 1000x, I've got to find a local range having 100 or 150 yard distances. Otherwise, the gun's accuracy and the shooter's skill isn't really tested.Keep giving us updates of your finding - very helpful.
To own a RAW or a THEOBEN is too fully understand the quality and how that relates to accuracy for most shooters.

It still fairly cold here so I haven't even even fine-tuned items like eye relief, cant, etc.

Remember to find slugs that fit snug, that is the most important aspect of accurate slug shooting. Post some pics of your new beast please!
This is blowing my mind
