Looks like slug barrels and pellet barrels. That is the first thing I thought when I saw them!I'm thinking that .177 would make a heck of a good little slug barrel, and I'd try one, if I could get my hands on one.
I know this is dragging up an old one, but hopefully I’ll have a .22 barrel with a 17 twist coming soon. Just depends on the money wire. Stay tuned.
Well, the wire goes out tomorrow. Hopefully it’s actually going to Alfa. I opted for the polygonal barrel. I think it might get obligated to the Kral Knight. I’m just diving into the airgun barrel thing, so I have much to learn, like anything having to do with cutting a lead and such. I’ve done quite a few revolver and centerfire rifles, but never an airgun barrel. It’ll be a learning experience and hopefully I don’t run out of barrel before I get it figured out.The guy I’ve been emailing with is named Mike Klimov. Hope he’s actually with the company and my email didn’t get hijacked.
I’ll get it figured out. I remember the first revolver of mine I re barreled. It is a .44 that I use for hunting and I started out with 12”, but ended up with a 10” before I got it right. 5hank goodness it was a cheap blank. It may take some trial and error, but I bet it’ll be a shooter eventually, might only be 3” long, but it’ll be a shooter. I did wake up to an email from them stating that they had received the funds and will get me a tracking number when the parcel ships.
