I know there's a good deal of you guys on here with a 50s in 20 cal and am interested to hear what your guns preferred pellet is along with the velocities? Also interested to hear 95/r9 in 20 cal velocities as well!

My HW50's are both .177 caliber, but I do have an R9 and R10 in .20 caliber - along with my HW80.The R9/R10 are my only gun's with Vortek springs, because I wanted a little more power than a ARH Hornet spring could provide. No kits ... just springs. Great shot cycle -> JSB 13.72's at 720/740 fps = 16 fpe.

(I highly recommend these pellets)It has a Vortek kit tuned by John in PA, was faster but I had him tune it down a little.I like my 50s around 11 fpe.
Hey Derrek disregard, just hopped over and checked them out, looks like good heavy 177!I've really been playing with trajectory charts alot, and my biggest comparison im making is between 177 heavy weights vs 20 cal 11.2 and 13.65s in the 50s. As someone that hunts alot, im always looking to retain maximum energy while trying to maintain flattest trajectory possible.
