I did have it sold once and when I was getting ready to box it the darn thing wouldn't pump up. I refunded the money and put the gun on the back burner. A gentleman came along the other day and bought the gun as is.
Everything in that gun (including the anodized aluminum barrel spacer) is new except the pump arm and seal. I just have so many unfinished projects that I was good with letting that one go. The 1400s can be found and the prices aren't "Sheridan" stupid. Even in perfect working order that gun would have not gotten the attention is deserves from me. I would rather see it in the hands of someone who will enjoy it. I have several vintage pumpers and many of them don't get used often but, they are stock original in perfect working order and near perfect condition. Those are the ones I'll hang on to. Others I find at yard sales and pawnshops I'll do what I can and pass them along. It has been a bit dry lately.
