I got this box of 38T from awhile back from a guy who tried to work on it and couldn't get it back together. The paint as pretty bad so I decided to do a restoration on it. Stripped the frame, sanded, and primed it. Notice my hillbilly paint hood. I went around about painting it appliance black for more authentic look or charcoal metallic for cool look. I went with the metallic. I've worked on a bunch of 1st var. 38T's but this is the first one I've had with the very early brass valve. Still has a slow leak out the valve. The stem seal looked Ok so I cleaned it up and stayed with it. May have been a mistake but an easy fix to replace it. I'll give her chance to seal up on her own but I have a few new stem seals somewhere.

Thanks. Here's one I did a couple month ago in midnight blue metallic. I try not to repaint my vintage 38t's but when the original paint is less than 80%, I go ahead.
