Thought this might help some other .22 Supercharger owners out there with pellet selection and save you guys some time and money.
I developed this spreadsheet that I use when selecting a pellet for my particular gun. I chrono each pellet and I have limits set for SD and ES. You can see them in yellow.
After gathering this data, I then do a 5 shot group test. With a pistol I start at 5yds. I mark which ones did well there. I have the cells set on conditional (1=green, 0=red). The pellets that are lighter gray are ones that I currently don't have. I also don't test them all because you wouldn't shoot certain pellets out of certain guns. Then I move back to around 10yds and see if any still group and mark them green also. My next steps will be to add some measurement data on the shot groups to my sheet.
Attached is my shot data, but as you can see, a good start would be to get the RWS Meisterkugeln and JSB Jumbo Exacts. Based on the chrono data, you would expect them to do well. They both group 5 shots in one ragged hole. The H&N FTT just would not group even though the SD and ES was slightly lower than the Meister's. The oddest thing to note is that the RWS Hobby shoot around the same fps as the Meister and they are 2.1 grains lighter.
All in all, I'm pretty happy with this gun being that Pyramyd only got 450fps with the 11.9 grain pellets and I'm getting around 550fps with 14 Meisters. I must have got a good one.
Let me know what you guys think.
I may post my other data from my other guns if it helps others out.
