I can't really speak for an un-modded AT-44 either. I know with my AT-44 long in .22 shooting the JSB Jumbo Monsters in 25.39 grain. I was able to get 18-20 shots with the short cylinder averaging about 900fps, but that was with a 3000psi fill, and I modded almost everything I could in that gun. I would think you should be able to do better in a .25 with a long cylinder, especially if you do the mods to let it breathe a bit better on the valve and ports. I would refer you back to Bob's post he did on the AT44 long in .25. He documented the testing from un-modded to modded all the way. http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=33903.0
So both of my newly acquired guns are leaking. After 1-2 days it would go down about 1000 psi, decided to check for leak on the Vulcan first . Kind of unconventional method but couldn't find it by soapy water. Hopefully this will work. As for the Impact, will have to send it in but figured I would keep it a little longer to get done more shooting time first since I did have to wait for a while for the gun.
So I became a victim to Black Friday on pyramydair. Now I need that Donny's special touch on the Nova .22 for whispering quiet and mega count shots.

First of all, congratulations, Trinh, on your new Hatsan. I hope it serves you well.Second, I would appreciate you guys' opinion(s) on something. As you may know I was having POI shift issues with my AT44 .25 Long. It went to Hatsan a couple of times, was replaced once, and finally the warranty ran out with no improvement in the problem. I have sent it to Baxter Walton, so, hopefully he can do what Hatsan couldn't. I was also having accuracy issues with my AT44 .177 Short and finally sent it to Hatsan. They kept it about 5 weeks, during which time the warranty expired, and finally said they couldn't fix it so sent a replacement. When I got the new .177, I fired it a bit to see what it was doing and then removed the stock to see what the factory hammer spring setting was. The screws were very tight and somewhat difficult to remove. I found out that the stock screw holes were not aligned with those in the action. Of course, that means that mounting the stock will put inordinate pressure on the action. Then, too, there's the aggravation every time I remove the stock and remount it. Next, I tried the hammer spring, and the adjuster appears to be completely frozen and will not budge.I know that coincidences will fool you, and while the rules of chance might mean that you get a defective .25 in replacement of a defective .25 and the same thing for the .177, it seems to me that the odds of that are pretty long. Even so, I'm not suggesting anything.Long story a bit shorter, I'm just wondering how I should look at this and what, if anything, I should expect from Hatsan since the warranty is now out. Naturally, I'm a bit PO'd, although I'm not quite sure at what or whom.
Jere, if anyone knows about Hatsan. It would be Donny. Because that's where my Nova is going as soon as I get it. you should come out one day and have him check it out. Glen if I have known that , I would have definitely gotten you to write me up.
